Founding Attorney

Attorney Paul d’Oliveira has been practicing personal injury and disability law now for OVER 30 YEARS. He started his personal injury law practice in 1989 with two offices in Fall River, MA and East Providence, RI. Today his firm has 16 offices in RI and Southeastern, MA.

Paul graduated from LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI in 1975 with honors. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Creighton University in 1979. He got his J.D. or law degree from Suffolk University in 1984.

Attorney d’Oliveira is admitted to practice law in both RI and MA. He attends several legal seminars every year to learn and apply new innovative ways to practice personal injury and social security disability law as well as learning about dangerous drugs and defective products. He is always looking for new ways to better service the clients in his firm as getting clients a fair settlement of their loss quickly so they can move on with their lives is important as is ongoing quality client service.

His professional associations include the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, and the Rhode Island Association of Justice. He is the President of the Trial Lawyers Marketing Roundtable and is an active member of the Masters Marketing Group as well as part of the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Cara Gallucci

Attorney/Claims Adjuster

Attorney Cara Gallucci has been with d’Oliveira & Associates for OVER 25 YEARS. She has recently retired from representing her own clients to working part time as a claims adjuster helping our attorneys here settle cases in our Woonsocket, Brockton, Boston, Attleboro and Taunton offices.

Her experience as an attorney here for over 25 years has made her a valuable asset to our law firm in her ability to obtain top dollar settlements from the insurance companies.  

Attorney Gallucci graduated from Tollgate High School in Warwick, RI in 1984. She graduated from Boston College with a bachelors degree in 1988 and graduated in 1991 from Suffolk University Law School. 

Laura Cameron

Attorney

Attorney Laura Cameron has been with d’Oliveira & Associates for OVER 25 YEARS. Since that time, she has been practicing personal injury and disability law exclusively. Attorney Cameron works with clients from the Warwick, Coventry, Cranston, Johnston, South Kingstown, and Providence areas.

In 1993 Attorney Cameron graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelors degree. In 1996 she graduated from Western New England School of Law.

Attorney Cameron is admitted to practice law in RI, MA and CT, and also in the United States District Court in MA. Attorney Cameron’s professional associations and memberships include the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ).

D. Robin Gouveia

Attorney D. Robin Gouveia has been practicing law for OVER 25 YEARS. Since joining the firm, Attorney Gouveia has been exclusively practicing personal injury and disability law. Attorney Gouveia works with clients from the East Providence, Middletown, Pawtucket, Fall River, New Bedford, Woonsocket, Attleboro, Taunton, Brockton and other areas throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Attorney Gouveia graduated from Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth, MA in 1985. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in 1989 from UMASS Dartmouth. She received her law degree from Southern New England Law School in 1998.

Attorney Gouveia is admitted to practice law in RI and MA state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.. Attorney Gouveia’s professional association admissions include the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Bristol County Bar Association.

She is an active Board of Governor for the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ). The Board of Governors is the governing body in the state of Rhode Island for members of the trial bar and consists of experienced and highly recognized Rhode Island Attorneys. They work to protect the rights of injured victims throughout the State of Rhode Island. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the American Association for Justice, which protect the rights injured citizens in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and across the United States.

Heather Spellman

Attorney

Attorney Heather Spellman comes to d’Oliveira & Associates with OVER 20 YEARS of litigation experience, primarily in the defense of personal injury claims, but also in the representation of injured parties. She has invaluable perspective on how insurance companies defend claims, which she uses to aggressively represent injured parties. Since joining the firm, she has been practicing personal injury law exclusively. She works with clients from East Providence, Middletown, Pawtucket, Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton, Brockton and throughout southeastern Massachusetts.

Attorney Spellman graduated from Seekonk High School in 1992, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 1996. She received her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2001.

Attorney Spellman is admitted to practice law in RI, MA, CT, NH, and also in the United States District Courts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Her professional associations and memberships include the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations.

Joshua Peace

Firm Administrator

Joshua has been with the firm since September of 2019 after obtaining his Bar Certified Paralegal Certificate. He started out in our firms Referrals Department handling local referrals as well as Mass Torts. Joshua also did content writing and SEO analysis.

After a brief period of being the Referrals Dependent Interim Supervisor and thereafter, training as an administrative assistant, Joshua has become the Firm’s Administrator and is now responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Law Firm’s Administrative office located in East Providence.

Kristen DiChiaro

Kristen started at d’Oliveira & Associates, P.C. as a Legal Assistant in August 1994. Kristen was promoted to Paralegal and Office Manager, and she continues to provide exceptional customer service to clients, helping them with their Rhode Island and Massachusetts personal injury claims.

Kristen’s overall attention to detail and warm personality has shown throughout the 25 years she has been employed with our firm. She takes great pride in managing the Woonsocket Office and her staff. She graduated with an Associates Degree from CCRI in 1994.

Lisa Rose

Lisa Rose has been an Office Manager/Paralegal with our firm for 20 years. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and assisting clients with all aspects of their claims. Lisa Lennon has been an Office Manager / Paralegal with d’Oliveira & Associates, p.c. for 20 years. She has extensive experience handling Rhode Island and Massachusetts personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and social security. Lisa is also responsible for the training and development of newly hired staff members.

Lisa attended the Nasson Business School in Pawtucket, RI, where she earned a Certificate in Business Accounting. She also attended Johnson & Wales where she studied paralegal courses. She has a tremendous gift for helping clients with all aspects of their claim and is able to provide exceptional service to every client.

Patricia O’Donnell

Pat O’Donnell joined the law firm of d’Oliveira & Associates, p.c. as a claims adjuster in January 2013. She comes to our firm with over 30 years experience adjusting, analyzing and negotiating personal injury claims including hundreds of auto accident, slip & fall and dog bite cases. Also, Pat attended Quincy Jr. College and Stonehill College.

Her vast experience in claims adjusting and reputation for knowledge of legal liability, state tort laws and insurance policy coverage result in the best settlement results for our customers. Pat has excellent customer service skills when dealing with adjusters, attorneys and clients and works with the attorney to obtain the best settlements for our clients. Pat enjoys her job very much.

Jill Johnson

Jill has been with the law firm of d’Oliveira and Associates, p.c. since July 2001. She graduated from the Paralegal Program at Gibbs College in 2001. Shortly thereafter she was hired as a receptionist and has since earned her position as Paralegal with this law firm.

Jill handles auto accident, slip and falls, dog bites, and social security disability cases. Her attention to detail and organizational skills have led to excellent client relationships. Jill continues to grow in her success with this law firm.

Maricza Allende

Maricza graduated with an Associates Degree from Bristol Community College in May, 1989. She speaks fluent Spanish, has managed, trained and supervised administrative support personnel. Furthermore, Maricza has extensive experience in the customer service field. Her caring and thoughtful demeanor, as well as her thoroughness and attention to detail are an asset for handling client’s claims. She is looking forward to continuing her success utilizing her many skills with d’Olivera & Associates.

Mary Lou Mancini

Mary Lou started with d’Oliveira & Associates, p.c. as a Legal Secretary in January 2009. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs with a Certificate in Executive Administration.

She continues to grow in her responsibilities as she was promoted to a Paralegal, where she directly assists clients of our Woonsocket office. Mary Lou’s hard work and diligence with handling files is a wonderful asset to our staff in Woonsocket.

Pamela Reis

Pamela began her career with d’Oliveira & Associates as a receptionist back in April of 2018. She quickly advanced to a legal assistant, and was quickly promoted to a Paralegal. Pamela continues to broaden her knowledge and as she assists the Attorney with cases in Rhode Island.

She is very optimistic and determined to provide the best customer service to our clients on a day to day basis. She is now handling car accident and slip and fall cases for clients in our Warwick, Johnston, Providence, South Kingstown, Cranston and Coventry locations.

Pamela graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Bristol Community College in RI. She began her career in banking in which she was employed at Citizens Bank for 8 years.

Kristen Banno

Kristen began working as a paralegal in our Warwick office in January of 2020. She has a background in medical malpractice litigation and currently handles automobile accidents, dog bites, and slip and fall claims. Kristen earned an Associates Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island in paralegal studies and is pursuing her Bachelors Degree at Roger William University. She is passionate about her career and hopes to pursue law school in the future.

Christine Dodd

Tiffany Shields

Ryan Theriault

Ryan has exceptional customer service skills and provides guidance to clients from intake to settlement. He has a calming demeanor and is eager to provide help to clients during the trauma following a car accident. Ryan is currently working as a Paralegal in the Fall River office.

Antonia Lee

Madison Lambert-Newberg

Jodi Almeida

Jodi joined the firm in February 2013 as a Quality Control Paralegal in our Referrals Department. In June 2019, she was promoted to Supervisor of the Referrals Department. Besides overseeing the department, Jodi also handled referral intakes, and performed annual audits for the firm.

Jodi has an extensive background in personal injury cases, insurance defense litigation and trial experience in both federal and state courts. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a B.A. in Paralegal Studies.

Susan d’Oliveira

Susan has been with the firm since March of 1997. Initially, Susan was hired as a receptionist. Having been with the firm for several years and through various promotions, she has been exposed to many aspects and operations in our administrative office.

Currently, Susan functions as the firms’ HR Director and as such administers all the employee benefits along with other HR functions.

James C. Westgate

Prior to joining our team, James spent the past 19 years at Roger Williams Law School and a busy workers’ compensation firm. He is now our Quality Control Intake Specialist and Mass Torts manager.

Denise Silva

Denise joined our law firm as the firm’s full-time bookkeeper in December 2015. She currently works in our administrative office, located in East Providence. Denise is responsible for the firm’s day to day finances. She comes to our firm with 30 years of experience in administrative management. Prior to joining our firm, Denise returned to College where she received an Associate in Science Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration. With an overall 3.8 GPA, she was considered as a candidate for Valedictorian of her graduating class. Denise’s attention to detail and ability to remain organized in such a fast paced environment has been a key component to her success in this position. Along with her professional skill-set, Denise brings her pleasant disposition. She has been a valuable addition to our team.

Tina Westemeier

Tina joined our law firm as a full time bookkeeper in September 2019. She currently works in our administrative office, located in East Providence. Tina is responsible for the firm’s day to day finances. She comes to our firm with 25 years of experience in Accounting.

Prior to joining our firm, Tina spent 25 years in the Banking Industry. Tina’s accounting background and attention to detail have been key components to her success in this position. Along with her professional skill-set, she brings her pleasant disposition. She has been a valuable addition to our team.

Pat Ray

Claims Adjuster

Pat Ray joined the firm as a Claims Adjuster in July, 2018. She has extensive background in the insurance industry handling, adjusting and negotiating personal injury claims, including auto accidents, slip and fall and dog bites.

The negotiation skills Pat brings to the table working with the attorneys is exceptional and has allowed her to achieve excellent settlement results for clients. The background and experience is invaluable.

Darlene Costa

Darlene recently joined d’Oliveira & Associates, PC as a paralegal in the New Bedford office. Prior to joining our firm, she has over 30 years experience handling personal injury cases. She is thorough, kind and eager to provide assistance to clients in cases including car accidents, dog bites, slip and falls and other cases involving injuries. She speaks fluent Portuguese and is looking forward to continuing her work with d’Oliveira & Associates, PC.
